Bakersville Township Development
With reference to earlier updates and communication, the last of which in June this
year, the management and professional teams have even made more progress
towards meeting the planning and development requirements.
It is important to note that Bakersville Township Development, in particular the
development of a Smart Industrial City, is a unique concept and would be the first of
its kind on the African continent.
Consequently, some important focus and attention had to be placed on the town planning requirements to accommodate the unique nature and features of the entire development concept. This required substantial technical and legal involvements to ensure that the Bakersville project is sound and within the scope of the legal framework governed by the relevant departments. Some important steps are now being taken – where relevant ministries are involved - to secure full and final ownership.
Engagements have also taken place with respect to the identification of construction companies and further information in this regard, will be made known in due course.
Furthermore, and as previously mentioned, Bakersville Township Development is not
part of the jurisdiction of any current municipality as it will have the status as a
Private Settlement. Consequently, it is not subjected to the authority of any of the
neighboring municipalities.
Sadly, we have become aware of some individuals, possibly with ulterior motives,
that find pleasure to spreading negative and false information about Bakersville
Township Development to members of the public and to the client base.
The matter was investigated, and it became apparent that those who are involved are some
individuals that used to work for the company, and others that present themselves as
holding senior positions at Bakersville, such as ‘Secretary General’ on the LinkedIn
platform – interestingly, Bakersville Township Development (Pty) Ltd never had such
a position or even had such a person in the employment or stake holding of the
company. Cases of misrepresentation are now being investigated and considered.
We herewith wish to state categorically, that the only people authorized to
represent Bakersville Township Development (Pty) Ltd are those that appear
under “About Us -Meat the Team” on the Bakersville website as well as those contactable
in the list hereunder. The team might be expanded in due course at which time
the website will be altered.
Lastly, the legitimacy of the Bakersville project is unquestionably substantiated by
considerable volumes of documentation inclusive of demonstrating and confirming
governmental support and involvement.
Nevertheless, and despite the efforts of some nay Sayers, the stakeholders of
Bakersville Township Development, are indeed very excited about the progress
made thus far and look forward to bringing the outstanding matters to finality in the
next short while.
